focuses on the history,
philosophies, ideologies, cultures,
and practices of contemporary
imperialism. A parallel focus is on
the ethnography and ethnohistory of
Indigenous Peoples of the Caribbean.
Topics covered by this project
include US foreign policy, the human
rights problem, military
intervention, globalization,
neoliberalism, trade, nationalism,
democracy/democratization, and
Indigenous resurgence.
